I grew up in the south. Still live in the south. I am a southern for sure yall. You probably already figured that out from some of my posts. Gotta love that southern charm. At least I think I have southern charm. LOL. A little peak into southern culture if you are not from around here. Most city or town street corners have at least 1 church on them or one or more near by.
Needless to say, when you drive around southern towns and cities, there are many opportunities to read outdoor church signs. You will witness a variety of sign types from brick pillars with the church name on it as well to rented aluminum / plastic mobile signs. Regardless of what type of sign it is, the important part is the message on the sign.
In my opinion the best messages are the ones that make you think. Those short messages have to be catchy and to the point in order to impact someone driving by who might need a message from God. I would say most of the people responsible for coming up with the message are quite witty. I have put together a few that I have seen or heard about. Hope you enjoy reading these as much as I have.
